The Jr. and Sr. Ukrainian Orthodox Leagues would like to say, "THANK YOU" to all our Hierarchs and Clergy across the UOC of USA on this day that the UOL has set aside as "Clergy Appreciation Sunday". Thank you for all you do for the UOC of USA, our parishes and organizations! Have a blessed day!
Back in 1969 at the 22nd Annual UOL Convention it was deceided to make the First Sunday after Ascension Priests Day as a way to honor their Spiritual Advisors. The UOL has since expanded the day to include ALL clergy and has called the day "Clergy Appreciation Day" and honors all clergy for their service.
